Pakistan armed forces

Pakistan armed forces are the military force of Pakistan. We are the seventh largest in the world in terms of troops. The armed force comprises of three main branches Pakistan army, the Pakistan Navy (including the Pakistan Marines), and the Pakistan air force. Since 1962 Pakistan has had close military relations with china including the development of JF thunder. Both nations also cooperate on development in nuclear weapons and space technology programs. Our military is considered one of the best in the world and has won many competitions at international levels.
Pakistan army is one of the best army in the world, The President of Pakistan is the Commander-in-Chief and supreme commander of the Army. The total strength of the pak army is 520000 plus 50000 army personnel are kept in reserve. The army tanks that Pakistan has are the best in the world and are capable enough to fight against any enemy or any country in the world.
The Pakistan navy is the naval warfare/service branch of the Pakistan Armed Forces. Pakistan's Navy is responsible for Pakistan's 1,046 kilometers (650 mi) coastline along the Arabian Sea and the defense of important civilian harbors and military bases. The Pakistan Navy's current and primary role is to protect country's economical and military interests at home and abroad, executing the foreign and defence policies of Pakistan Government through the exercise of military effect, diplomatic activities and other activities in support of these objectives.
According to the latest report by the chief air marshal 90% of our air craft’s in best working conditions 7% in ordinary condition and only 3% our air craft’s have become obsolete, as compared to our neighboring country India whose army chief wrote a letter the PM a few days back telling him that 97% of the air craft’s have become obsolete. Making its air defense one of the weakest in the world. The total active personnel’s active on duty in the air force are 45000 and 8000 are kept in reserve.
The Pakistan military possesses nuclear weapons and sufficient means both developed entirely by civilian scientists and engineers of Pakistan, through a range of missiles and aircraft—to deliver these over considerably long distances. However, unlike India, Pakistan does not have no-first-use policy and maintains the use of nuclear weapons as a deterrent and to peacefully prevent India and other world countries to offset the large conventional advantage other countries like USA and India enjoy over Pakistan.
Pakistan's Military Intelligence (MI) is one of the three main intelligence services in Pakistan. MI is tasked with counter-insurgency operations, identifying and eliminating sleeper cells, foreign agents and other anti Pakistani elements within Pakistan. Additional functions involve monitoring high level military and political leaders and safe guarding critical facilities such as military and non-military installations.

  5. Armed forces are the major assets of a country, which plays a vital role in protecting and preserving national assets, solidarity and national identity. This article initiates a question that: Does Pakistani Army is actually playing this role effectively? Or what impact it is giving to our youth?. Because youth is a future of our country and armed forces as well. So it is important to guard our future through teaching your youngsters in a positive way.

  12. A person can say that all the blessings are going to waste. We have got so much, and there is still potential. It is time people showed some 'real' patriotism. May Allah guard our country and its people.

Well I couldn't understand the point of this particular article. Its informative yes, but it borders on amateurish. All the information mentioned in the above article is available on Wikipedia or some pro-Pakistan website. The other articles in this respective blog are much more related to the problems our beloved country is facing today. And yet this particular article has the most comments. This article which is totally irrelevant to the topic of this blog. "Pakistan Revival". That means looking into solutions to better Pakistan as a nation. The problem is that people are so ready, so desperate for appraisal, that they forget the real problems at hand. People are dying. Things are probably at their lowest ebb in the 60+ year history of the country. I might be called by some "an unpatriotic individual". But then again you know what they say, "Scoundrels wear patriotism on their sleeves".
